Attitude of some of nurses/midwives in ward 61.After going backwards and forwards to the maternity department my daughter feel as if she is doing the wrong thing by going to the hospital when she is in severe pain while she is pregnant with her first child. The doctors and nurses give her codeine/paracetamol and send her back home. Her pain has been that extreme we have had to call ambulance out twice and yet we have had no explanation why she keeps getting these constant severe pains. At the moment she is in ward 61 and constantly crying with pain only to be told you should be at home.I thought hospital were supposed to help people in pain, the attitude I am getting off some of the nurses is if you are in pain go home we don't want to know we will give you paracetamol that will cure your pain. She is so tired but cannot sleep because of the pain only for the doctor to say don't let her sleep keep her walking about instead of giving her pain relief and letting her sleep.I feel this hospital is not giving her the care and attention she needs.
