What I liked
I saw the Consultant in January 2012 and he said he wanted me to have Carpal Tunnel surgery. He explained to me what would happen at all stages. When I went in for the operation the staff were very good at putting my mind at rest about having the operation as I was really nervous. Everyone seemed to go out of their way to be helpful and explain things. The whole area where I was (Ward D5 and the theatre area), was exceptionally clean and tidy. The whole time I was in the anaesthetic room and the theatre I was made to feel at ease and almost before I knew it they were doing the stitching up. I would like my sincere thanks to be passed on to the staff on Ward D5 and in the anaesthetic room and theatre on Monday pm 27th February 2012 please.
What could be improved
I cannot really think of anything that could be improved
Anything else?
A frightening experience that was made much easier by the attitude of the Consultant and the staff that I came into contact with
"If ever I needed any other surgery I would choose..."
