(as the patient),

I was extremely worried about having this procedure and had already decided on having a sedation , however on arrival my blood pressure was low and I knew that I would be quite unwell if I had sedation .

The staff were excellent, right from meeting the receptionist to being in recovery everyone was kind, patient and very reassuring.

I managed to have the procedure and biopsies with the just the throat spray and although it wasn't nice it wasn't as frightening as anticipated .

This unit has a lovely atmosphere and sometimes it's just reassurance and kindness that needed to help an anxious patient.
