"No contact"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Podiatry

(as a carer),

My dad who is 79 and has dementia has been getting his toenails cut at Batley Health Centre for years. I recently took him to the walk-in centre as usual but was turned away & told that he needs to get his GP to re-refer him. His nails are very long & he was really disappointed. I am now told that it could be 18 weeks before he can see someone. Disgusted at this service. Why were we not contact to see if we wanted to be taken off the list?

Hi there

I am really sorry to hear about the situation with your father. We really need to investigate this more fully to understand what has happened. Please could you call our Customer Liaison team on 0303 003 4529 followed by 'Option 1', this line is open Monday - Friday 9am to 4pm.

I have spoken to the team and they are expecting your call.

Best wishes

Sarah
