"Fantastic experience in eye casualty and eye..."

About: St Thomas' Hospital / Ophthalmology

I came in after my optician referred me urgently, with a retinal tear. The receptionist in eye casualty was lovely and very supportive, as I was quite distressed

By the early afternoon, I had received a laser retinopexy and now three weeks later, a check up appointment in the eye clinic.

It seems that the problem is fixed and my retina is recovering well.

I can’t be thankful enough to the wonderful staff in the eye department! The quality of care was truly outstanding!

Kind regards,

Eva Tzokova

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you have had such a poistive experience of treatment and care during what must have been quite a worrying time. It is good to know that your eye is healing well. We will pass your comments on to the team in opthalmology.
