"No smoking hospital ........"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Ophthalmology

welcomed the new No Smoking signage when entering the hospital grounds so I thought that action was being taken against patients and visitors sitting near to car park pay machines and smoking.

Have always used the pay Station inside the hospital to avoid breathing in second hand smoke but now the office does not welcome cash I was forced to use the machines outside.

On walking past to go in there was one smoker. Coming out about 1:20 there was a group of two female patients in dressing gowns and 4 other adults all smoking

Have never seen security speaking to the smokers.

Please allow non smokers to pay inside away from the “ smoking area” or move the machines inside. To give thensmokers free range to smoke without interference of Security.

Notices are no good if not backed up by action
