What could be improved
I was completely ignored by staff
Anything else?
I visited my doctor about severe head pain and he referred me to the hospital. Upon arrival I was located to a bed and bloods taken, I was then told I could need a CAT scan doing. I was taken to be scanned, however was then left on a bed in the corridor for over 45 minutes. I was only taken back when a concerned pass by asked why I was there, then went off to find some help.
I was then admitted to a ward with three other patients. Despite my severe head pain and migraine I was located on a ward with an elderly gentlemen who would not stop shouting and complaining, and another gentlemen with a severe snoring problem. The florescent lights were very strong and made my head pain even worse. I wasn't provided with any water for over 4 hours, and it was 12 hours in total before I was seen by a doctor.
"Absolutely awful"
