What I liked
My father was treated in this hospital for cancer. One day I called and he was in pain. I told him to press the button for the nurse. He did but dropped the phone so I heard everything that happened. The nurse was amazing, spoke to him really kindly, and got him pain management quickly. There was a male nurse who was superb, answered all our questions and always made time for us. I have been involved with the NHS for years now and can say this was the best treatment my family has ever received. Even the follow up was superb.
I know it is not like this all the time but I have seen really bad treatment close up and it's importnat for me to congratulate the team on a job well done.
"Well done. Keep the standard high."
