"Great staff."

About: Derriford Hospital / Neurosurgery

Admitted VERY unexpectedly on a Saturday evening, and advised I needed a spinal operation..asap!

Somewhat shell-shocked, but the staff couldn't have done more to help. From the the nursing staff, the auxiliary staff, the anaesthetic team, the porters, the cleaners, and the caterers. All were ..without exception.. friendly cheerful and pleasant, and went out of their way to make what could have proved an unhappy experience, a much more bearable one.

A special mention to the Nursing staff, who remained consistently cheerful and helpful even when obviously short staffed and rushed off their feet.

A final thank you to the oh so patient Physiotherapists, who, with gentle bullying, got me walking almost properly!
