A huge thank you to all of the staff who cared for me during my two recent hospital admissions following my hip replacement. I could not have asked for better treatment in what was a very difficult time. A personal mention for my consultant who has been just fabulous and to all of the staff on ward D48, from the cleaner all the way through to the senior nursing and medical staff. They’re professionalism, care and attention really did save my life.
What better year to be acknowledging these amazing staff than on the 70th birthday of the NHS. It’s a constant reminder of how lucky we are to have such a wonderful health care service who go above and beyond to ensure patients like myself are so well looked after. I could not be more grateful.
