What I liked
Cheerful, kind and efficient nursing and support staff. Elderly patients seemed to get the help they needed (e.g. to go to toilet, feeding, washing).
Check for MRSA when I was admitted to the Emergency Assessment Unit.
The extensive range of diagnostic tests carried out, over 48 hrs in the Unit.
Consultants took time to talk, and in an approachable way, so that I could ask questions.
Food was pretty good - though anxious about my health, I managed to enjoy all the meals.
What could be improved
A problem with loose sheets on the rather slippery mattress of the super bed/trolleys; by morning the bed was in a tangle.
