"Professionalism and kindness"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / General Medicine

(as a service user),

My wife was admitted in late 2017 with a brain disorder. She spent 16 weeks under the care of the doctors and nursing staff in ward 208. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and kindness during this difficult time. Loraine was transferred to a Care Home in Stirling for 5 weeks following her hospital stay and has made a remarkable recovery . She is now home and improving daily. Loraine went back to see the staff of ward 208 recently and they were amazed at her recovery. Special thanks to Natasha who spent so much time with Loraine.

Dear telescopiumfy74,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share the care experienced in Ward 208 from both the doctors and the nursing staff. I am pleased to read that Loraine is home and improving daily.

I have passed on your excellent feedback to the Associate Nurse Director at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and we will ensure that Natasha and all of the Staff receive this.

Thank you again and best wishes to yourself and Loraine.

Pamela
