What I liked
The nurses are extremely efficient, friendly and a credit to their profession.
What could be improved
Doctors attitude was terrible and reduced myself to tears and my husband to being so angry he was left speechless. My last visit was a bombardment of "have you ever felt the need to see a councillor"? "We can arrange a councillor" E.t.c. I am no hypochondriac, and am very upset at feeling labeled as such.
I am still having symptoms and when I feel I am ready to see another neurologist I will ask my G.P to refer me to a different hospital that hopefully will treat me like a normal person and not belittle me because they can't work out a diagnosis.
I am not a person that complains, nor angry at the way I was spoken to, I'm just so upset that I was not taken seriously, and as such my quality of life has got worse because I now fear I will not be believed by any doctor and so have put off seeking help.
I am 45 and cant hold objects for very long due to the problem with my hands, the twitching all over my body is turning me into a virtual recluse, my toes often have a mind of their own and the headaches are terrible.
Anything else?
As I said before, the nurses are amazing.
"Disappointing."
