"Birth of baby number two"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital / Maternity

(as a service user),

I was induced due to preeclampsia at 37 weeks, the service from staff was brilliant although the antenatal ward was unbelievably busy, I had to wait two days before going onto the labour ward. Once there things moved very quickly and the staff were amazing. I had quite a heavy bleed after birth and the room filled with people who came in did what they needed then left. Although this was overwhelming it was all done very professionally and the midwife, who I think was named Demi, was very reassuring and acted in a very professional way. I felt very well taken care of.

Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to share your birth experience. I am pleased to hear that even though you had a difficult experience after your baby was born that Demi was very supportive and reassuring. I have shared your story with Demi, she is very happy that you felt well taken care of.

Once again thank you for sharing your story.
