What I liked
The hospital is clean and tidy, the specialists are professional enough. The structure is very well done
What could be improved
In my humble opinion, when it comes to the receptionists staff, everything is a bit amateur and very disappointing. I am a very
patience person, but out of 6 times I visit this hospital, only 2 were satisfied.
There is a great deal of ignorance and even lack of education by the receptionist stuff. it is also the 5th time that I found them chatting each others while I was in full pain and suffering.
Waiting is also a bit of a problem, it is very hard to believe that in such a big structure it takes so many minutes to get a visit even when you are in clear state of emergency.
It happened to me that even a nurse was annoyed and a bit rude while I was having a treatment. I feel that receptionists, nurses and even some doctors are only there for the money more then the more important evocative nature of the job. Stuff seems not listening to you, they don't give u satisfying advises, and always a bit quick to release you. I lived and work in4 different countries where the human touch and professionalism is something missing here
Anything else?
Today for example, I had to go to the hospital as I'm having a deep infection under a tooth. I didn't expect them to do much about it as I obviously need a dentist, but at least a strong pain relief as the pain is incredibly strong. Usually in this world, when you are in pain you go to a hospital and they will fix you. Not in England apparently.
I had to go to hospital as at 10.30pm everything is closed, not even a single 24hrs pharmacy (shame), spending money for the taxi and got refused at the reception as they said they cannot prescribe sedatives or pain killers. "go to Tesco and by some Nurofen"!!! I went there to see a doctor to find a receptionist refusing any treatment, Where is the world?! Now I'm exhausted, I can't sleep, and likely to go to very expensive emergency private clinic.
