What I liked
I recently attended the hand clinic for an out pateint operation.
On arrival, I felt apprehensive and nervous. I was reassured by the nurses that all would be fine and it was.
At each stage I was informed of the procedure. The actual operation was somewhat uncomfortable but greatly helped by the nurse talking to me throughout the ten minutes it took. The surgeon was brilliant and did a wonderful job.
Afterwards I was given a cup of tea and then saw the occupational therapist, who was also very efficient and helpful.
One week on, my hand has healed and I can now drive again.
I travelled quite a long way for this procedure and it was well worth it.
I would like to thank everyone involved for making the experience as good as it possibly could have been.
