What I liked
The hospital was nice, easy to find and the receptionists friendly and helpful.
What could be improved
The bedside manner of the nurses and man performing my scan. I was having an ultrasound on my foot - walked into the room and neither the nurse nor the man performing my scan introduced themselves. My bag was snatched out of my hands and I was told to lie down by the nurse. The man (I call him "the man" as I have no idea of his name or job title) then set about scanning my foot, squeezing it hard, (bearing in mind the scan was to find out why I have pain in my foot) and when I flinched with pain I was snappily told it would be necessary to squeeze my foot. No effort was made to make me feel comfortable or ensure I knew what was happening, and I was left feeling rather ill at ease throughout.
Anything else?
I am generally a relaxed and happy person who can adapt to most situations but I was made to feel very very uncomfortable during my scan.
