What I liked
I arrived at the maternity unit on Tuesday 10th August to give birth to my son. The birth was very difficult but despite this the staff were amazing and very supportive. They encouraged me at all times and were very good listeners. I was in hospital for eight days at their request to ensure that my little boy and I were ready for the outside world. While I was on B7 the team worked tirelessly to establish breastfeeding and gave me an unbelievable amount of support. The advice received was excellent at all times. The room was clean and very well laid out. I was given a room of my own for clinical reasons which I realy appreciated. knowing how busy they are I feel very priviledged to have received the treatment I got and am extremely grateful to all concerned.
The food wasn't bad either!
What could be improved
Nothing
Anything else?
The team on the labour ward and B7 need recognition for their hard work and diligence
