What could be improved
I have been visiting Lister Hospital every evening for the last couple of weeks. Due to my current situation with my health, I have found myself having to hold my breath each time I walk in and out of the hospital.
Patients and visitors ignore the non smoking signs and stand in groups across the doorway smoking.
Other hospitals have smoking zones, announcements and sensible measures to ensure smoking ban is enforced. I don't think it is appropriate for sick, pregnant, vulnerable people and children to be forced to inhale other people's smoke when attending the hospital. I haven't got an issue with smoking in general, people are used to the new laws now and it can be easily managed.
