"Poor attitude of receptionist"

(as the patient),

Attended Cambuslang clinic for a test, can't fault the nurses who were lovely. On arrival receptionist said hold on a minute: left me standing there for 5 minutes while they stared at a screen, sighed loudly, went to and from a room behind the reception. Finally told me to fill a form in and give it to the nurses with no explanation that I should wait until a nurse called me etc. During my wait various patients attended, nurses came and went to the desk, telephone calls came in. Each interaction with the receptionist was met with their rude, irascible manner. I cannot imagine that this is the face of frontline NHS Lanarkshire. I was just relieved that when the nurse came for me she was lovely and couldn't be faulted.
