"Delivery of our baby"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital / Maternity Royal Oldham Hospital / Neonatal care

(as the patient),

The initial plan was to have a home delivery, but that didn't go to plan. I will just say at this point the community midwife team have been brilliant with my wife, they have answered queries literally 24/7 and have helped to put our minds at ease. Top notch service. My wife went into labour early so we had to go to ROH for assessment and delivery. The assessment suite staff were nice but they didn't seem to be enough of them and the waiting room was full, possibly could benefit from some extra staff. Once we went to the labour suite, the midwifes and doctors were great. It was obvious to me that they genuinely cared that my wife and child were well. The neo nate nurse was a god send. Lovely lady! , facilities and staff are great. Thank you to everyone involved: -)
