"Parking problems at Royal Hallamshire Hospital"

I recently missed an out-patient appointment at the Hallamshire despite arriving thirty minutes early. The car park was closed and traffic was grid-locked around the surrounding streets.

Then last week my partner was transferred to the same hospital with a life-threatening condition. I live 8 miles away and suffer from heart failure (but do not yet have a Blue Badge). I have to pay £7.20 per day to park at the hospital - money I can ill-afford as I am on benefits. I do not have choice whether to visit, being that this is a critical illness.
