I was admitted to Barnstable hospital recently with an ankle infection. I had a brilliant experience which I think was all down to the attitude of the staff there. Everyone was great from the nurses to the ladies who cleaned and brought the food round. Although I didn’t have much of an appetite the food looked great and the menu was really good. I felt very secure there and happy. Staff just never seemed to be too busy not to talk to you, even the ward sister. The only down side was waiting for two hours to get my tablets when I was discharged. I know it sounds odd because I was poorly but it was a nice experience been there for those 8 days and I now think very highly of the national health service.
the hospital was also very clean, it was spotless, and I think it’s important to share positive feedback.
