About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I fell off from de bike and went to GP, she referred me to Bournemouth Royal, there them took a XRay to my little finger and saw it was broken, then I was referred to the Emergency, the Nurse there no was so kind, don't ask me just essential and neither saw me, I asked her if I could take a photo from my XR and she was upset, outside in the reception were the same. But...I went next week to therapy and the therapist treat me very well. You can say the same word with or without smile, or, at least, explain or ask if you need something more. I know how many weight put the Emergency on your back, but is not patients fault

I am sorry to hear your trip to our Emergency Department did not meet your expectations.

The department is often busy, a smile or being friendly can go a long way to putting patients at ease, I will forward your comments to the Matron so she can talk to her staff and we can all learn from this.

I am pleased to hear that when you came back a week later to see the therapist you had a much better visit.
