"Booking appointments"

About: Ainsdale Centre For Health and Wellbeing

(as a service user),

Over the past week I have called this centre 135 times to book a blood appointment. Not once has the phone been answered. On my two previous blood appointment attempts I had a similar situation. Both times I've had to physically go to the centre to book them. Not once has a phone call been answered. This is ok for me to go to the centre, an inconvenience but I am able to go. But for people who are less able this is really poor. When I physically turn up to book an appointment I find myself stood alone in the waiting area, yet I wait 5-10 minutes to be seen. The receptionist is either busy on the computer or talking to a fellow colleague. This is really poor service, and is so irritating contstantly calling and waiting for the line to go dead.
