What I liked
My father was on Rowsley Ward for a couple of weeks. Compared the acute ward he came off, he described it as more like a hotel! It was lovely and clean, and bright. A calm and relaxing atmosphere. Excellent facilities: showers, a bath, a lounge, with TV, small bays. Nurses friendly and helpful. And to the point of him being there: the staff improved his mobility and activity tremendously in two weeks.
What could be improved
The only thing he didn't like was the bed, as he said it wasn't as comfy as the one he'd had in the acute ward. It looked just like a normal hospital bed to me, but he didn't like it.
Anything else?
Well done, and thanks
