My partner recently fell and dislocated his shoulder. We arrived at A&E in an ambulance and it was busy. The hospital staff were very busy and there were about 7 trolleys in the corridor where my partner was waiting. I was impressed by the team, as it's incredible how many people it takes to assist one person with something non life threatening (porter, x-ray, healthcare assistants, nurses et ). Although there was a lot of rushing about and people with a wide range of ailments, the care was very good. There appeared to be some 'difficult' patients and a lot of elderly and even at 3am the staff were patient and incredibly good.
I've been to Calow a few times in the last year with different people needing care and even under the pressures that they have I'm repeatedly impressed and grateful for the service that they offer.
"Busy Bank Hol. A&E but good care given"
