I was referred by my health visitor after a traumatic birth with my first child. Although the first initial group referral was not that helpful as it was over an hour and a lot was irrelevant to my situation, the one on one help I received after that was brilliant. She was more like a counsellor than a nurse and was totally understanding of the difficulties of fitting a pelvic exercise regime into life with two very young children. She worked with me to slowly build up the exercises and get into a routine with liquid intake which has eased the problems.
There were often problems with the Locala booking system which meant several occasions where appointments had to be rearranged but overall the experience was a very positive one and I cannot fault my nurse who always made me feel comfortable and was very easy to talk to. My situation is now much improved and I have been discharged.
