What I liked
I came to West Heath on 11th July from the Royal Orthopaedic, when i arrived on ward 11 i was very worried as i had been given bad reports, Upon arrival i became very upset, but the staff soon set to work and made me feel a person nothing was too much trouble i was overwhelmed by EVERYONE'S kindness and within a few days i had settled in ready to start my rehabilitation. The one thing that really helps is being able to get off the ward for a few hours to take part in the activities, this is a fantastic service provided for the patients :-)
What could be improved
I would be hard pushed to find anything specific that would need improving, with the exception of maybe having the Physio's and the activities available over the weekend and on bank holidays, the weekend drags on when you don't have these facilities
Anything else?
I would like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has helped to make my stay at West Heath Hospital as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible, all the nurses and the house keepers are ready to help with ANY need you might have, i would also like to say a special THANK YOU to the Activities ladies for their patience and care fun and laughs over the past 7 weeks i don't think i could of coped without you, although i can't wait to go back home now i shall miss you all and as soon as i can i would like to come back and help out any where i can
Thanks again for everyone who has helped me with anything during my stay
