"The staff were lovely - warm, friendly and welcomin"

I arrived at Neustadt-Welton Ward at the due time assuming I would be having a hip revision operation later that day. The staff were lovely - warm, friendly and welcoming. Full marks to Sister Jan and her team.

Unfortunately, my surgeon, had called in sick (get well soon! ) so after a couple of hours, a mug of tea and two rounds of toast, I went home!

And there you have it! My story is brief! I was given a new operation date -  and guess I will be called in before then for a new pre-op assessment. So, eventually, all will be well.
