"Care on the ward"

About: Furness General Hospital / General medicine

(as a relative),

My uncle was staying on ward 9 he has cancer and on morphine. He has developed cellulitus and could not walk. He needed to use the bathroom. He has also developed a kidney infection. So he rang the call bell. And waited so long that he wet himself. He is continent and a very proud man. I think its disgusting. He asked if he could have a commode near him he was told they don't do commodes because of health and safety.
