"Waiting for results"

I had a internal ultrasound scan done on 27th January and was told I would have the results in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I rang the consultants' secretary and got the answer machine. Despite the message saying someone would call me back nothing happened so I rang again the next week to be told that the report was on the consultant's desk and would go out in the post that day (Friday) or the following Monday. I still haven't received anything - I have rung 5/6 times and just get the answer machine. I am exceedingly disappointed and highly concerned that I am still no nearer knowing what is wrong with me. I wrang my own localdoctor surgery and they have no record of any results being sent out to them.

I have a family history of cancer and I was told I had a large cyst by the radioagrapher at the time that had grown since my last check up and yet no one has come back to me to let me know results of blood test and next plan of action. Worrying to say the least
