"Hospital visit"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary / Pain Management

Dec 2016 - see specialist to be told i will be put on waiting list.for pain treatment (3 month wait estimated)

21st Feb 2017 - have another appointment at hospital - I assume its for the treatment. When i attend told no need for me to have come as hospital appointment is a duplicate of Dec. appointment. Reassured still on waiting list for pain treatment.

When I ring to check where i am on waiting list - told no referral was made in Dec 2016 i am on not on waiting list for any treatment!

So I have wasted 1/2 day today attending hospital for no purpose, a slot with a consultant with a long waiting list has been wasted and my treatment has not progressed in 3 months.
