About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Ophthalmology (eye problems) (Ward 1c)

(as a relative),

My brother attended appt at gartnavel eye clinic. He is terrified of hospitals and procedures. Medical care and nursing care was exceptional. Elderly mother supported and my brothers Learning Disability was recognised. All procedures were discussed with him in language he understood and he accepted a cannula something that we thought was a no go. Thank you all

Many thanks for taking the time to post on Patient Opinion.

It was heart warming to read your kind words regarding the care the staff provided to your brother. It is encouraging to read that staff supported both your brother and mother. I am glad that by clearly explaining the procedures involved, your brother was willing to have a cannula.

I will share your post with the General Manager of the service and I know that the staff in the Eye Clinic will be delighted to receive your kind words.
