(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My experience here has been horrible and I want a transfer. I haven't got a clue what is in my care plans. I want an independent advocate. I think that the ones here are working or St Andrew's. I want an advocate from Dudley or Coventry. I have been in other hospitals and feel I have been treated better than I am here. This feels more like high secure and staff were better where I was before. I can't even have an electric toothbrush.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you feel that your experience here so far has not been a positive one. We are working on ways to ensure that access to items is decided on a much more individual basis, whilst still taking in to account the overall safety of the ward.

Hello, I am the advocacy manager for POhWER and we provide the advocates across the Andrew’s hospitals. I can assure you we are independent of St Andrews, we do not hold our data on any St Andrew’s IT servers and use our own equipment. In Birmingham I have a new advocate starting in the next couple of weeks who is from Birmingham. His name is Noel and I will ask him to introduce himself to you he can look at the issue regarding your toothbrush with you, should you so wish.
