"Poor phone system"

About: Limes / Recovery Team (west)

(as a service user),

At the Limes there is no queuing system for the phone line so you have to take you chance trying to get through after a long ring. Then the Limes phone disconnects you or you get an engaged tone and can't get through at all. Not only is this poor professionalism but you feel rejected/ostracised too which doesn't help a mental illness. Also if you do get through you can often be asked to ring back later/ next day as the computers are down. This means more are needed please

So sorry to read about this we have recently ordered more computers for the Limes and its not our intention to make people feel uncomfortable when they contact us in fact we want to have systems in place to make people feel that any contact with us is positive in every way

We have just appointed a new admin manager at the Limes and we have asked her to review the telephone contact system in order to avoid any repetition of this experience of being able to contact us
