"Great Service & Staff"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / Accident and emergency

My mother had a fall and was taken to A & E. There was a 4 hour waiting time. However mother had clearly badly injured her face, eyes swollen shut and extremely bruised. So she was seen quite quickly by a nurse for observations, then the same nurse came back to her to take bloods. My mother was then seen by a doctor before having a CT Scan, this thankfully gave her the all clear of no fractures to the skull. They then allowed her home and to return next week for more checks. All in all from ambulance to A & E the whole team of staff were wonderful. The Paramedics, Nurses, Doctors all so very helpful, caring and compassionate. During what appeared to be a very busy day for them! Thank you!

I am so sorry to hear about your mother's fall, it must have been such a worrying time for you both. Thank you for taking the trouble to write to us and offering such lovely feedback.

I do hope your mother is now recovering well,
