"My Dad is weel cared for, safe and happy"

About: Parklands Hospital

My dad was sectioned last week and sent an hour away from home to your hospital. I was terrified for him when I saw some of the negative reviews and I would say to anyone in my position , it's Not Like That Now. The staff are lovely, friendly and informative and we have asked them about treatment, accommodation and how much a taxi costs. They know my dad already and he is cooperating with them, is clean, well fed and spoken to with dignity. The staff of all different ages always have a smile for us all. The bathrooms are spotless and state of the art, the food excellent and we have a clear timetable of his treatment. I am hoping he doesn't get moved closer to home now, as Parklands is working wonders.
