I was extremely unwell and very distressed recently while suffering from depression and was taken by police for a Mental Health assessment which took place in Rowan after waiting for over 40 hours a AMP social worker and a psychiatrist called me into a room, I didn't know their names, they treated me without any care/compassion or respect. I was saying I still felt suicidal but it went over their heads. All in a matter of a max of 10 minutes I was abruptly turfed out and sent out in a taxi in more distress than before. I felt I wasn't listened to and heard, treated like it was all my fault, and told to pay for my taxi home at which I refused and said I'd go by train. I would not recommend anyone who feels this bad to trust this trust from my experience. I know they must see people in this situation day after day but the way they made me feel was uncalled for and unbelievable.
