"Children's A&E"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital / Accident and emergency

I took my 16 year old in who had slipped and broken his wrist.

Everyone who saw him were brilliant.

The only problem I had was when they were pulling his arm back into shape they did it without giving him pain relief.

Thank you for talking the time to feed back to us about your visit. It is very unusual for a patient not to be given pain relief prior to setting a fracture but it is not possible to comment on individual cases. If you would like to contact the matron directly she would be more than happy to discuss what happened to your son. She can be contacted on 0118 322 7480 or contact our Patient Relations Team on 0118 322 8338. We hope by now that your son is on the path to recovery.
