Iv been referred to gynae from my gp for on going problems with pain periods etc. I was booked an appointment within 8 weeks of referral (which was earler than expected) so was pleased.
The day i went for my appointment i was greeted remarkbly efficient. I went down stairs registered myself in walked upstairs to the reception/waiting area and as soon as i walked in the nurse called my name (before i even got to sit down) very impressed. The nurse did say it was a good day and they were running on time. Then i went to see the consultant i was armed with my notes id been keeping a diary for months. The consultant listened he took the time to read my notes. I told the consultant information which was helpful to decide on the next step for me. Overall i felt very involved informed and i was treated with respect and was happy with the out come. I was booked in gor a laproscopy and told it wouldn't be a long wait. Very pleased iv just got my pre operative appointment through 6 weeks later.
