"There's not enough praise in the world!"

About: Royal United Hospital

I was rushed in at 22 weeks due to complications and early labour, sadly the outcome wasn't happy as our baby was too small to save but the care, kindness, dignity and compassion show by every single person we had contact with in the chaplaincy, the birthing suite and the labour ward and in theatre was absolutely amazing. The support given and provisions made to recognise and preserve as much of our precious memories as possible was a true comfort for us and will continue to be so. If we are fortunate to get another chance to have a baby we will only go to RUH, they were truly wonderful.

Thank you for your kind words about staff you had contact with during your admission to the RUH.

We appreciate you taking the time to post your experience on NHS Choices at this most difficult time.

We will pass your comments on to the maternity service team and to the Chaplaincy.

With kind regards.
