"There are staff that come to work and help us have a better day"

About: St Andrew's Healthcare, Men's - Essex

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Being here for Christmas isn't exactly ideal. I'd rather be at home with my family enjoying myself and being around loved ones.

But then I'm not going to diss this place as it does have its good things such as there are staff here who come to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas day and help us have a better day. Which I think is amazing as they could be with their families.

So it isn't all that bad really. I guess it is how you make it to be honest. Just remember the staff that come in to support and help you could easily be at home, yet they choose to come in and be there for us lot. My absolute respect goes to all of the staff.
