I cannot thank the staff at this hospital enough for everything they did for our family. My Grandma was first admitted to Clyst ward in March 2014 following a stroke, during the subsequent days the staff kept us updated and informed on her progress and allowed us to visit her regularly during this time. The ward was clean and tidy and Grandma was afforded dignity at all times. She spent a month on Clyst ward and she received regular physiotherapy and made excellent progress before being transferred to a rehabilitation hospital, In January 2016 Grandma had to be admitted to the RD&E again this time to a different ward and again she was afforded care, dignity and respect. The staff kept us informed of how she was and the plans for her discharge. They kept her comfortable before she was discharged to a nursing home for palliative care. The staff on the wards here are all caring and keep families in the loop regarding the progress of relatives and I am grateful of this.
"Thank you for looking after my Grandma"
