"Recent stay."

About: Weston General Hospital / Accident and emergency

A&E staff excellent under such conditions. All corridors filled with beds very scared and vulnerable.

Not staff fault.

4hrs bed found on side ward of maternity.

When able to eat/drink nurse offered cup of tea bless them.

No cups of tea offered afterwards.

Caterers said nurses did it.

Nurses unaware and begrudgedly did get one.

I don't mind paying for tea trolley. What not inform patients that tea is no longer available on NHS. Sent home needing an urgent mri scan promising one next week.

Appointment came 5th January.

Been to A&E at least 6 times same problem.

Doctors fab however.

Don't like wasting ambulance time doc times as staying is not a good experience.

Found some nurses more caring than other ones.

Disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback - we will pass your comments on to the different departments involved.

We would like to reassure you that tea and coffee is readily available, you don't have to pay and we will pass your comments onto the nursing team on the midwifery unit. It's been extremely busy in the hospital with lots of patients and we've had three wards closed to new admissions because of Norovirus as well. We're sorry that you feel disappointed. This is not our intention as your care and welfare is our utmost concern.
