"Care for my husband"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5)

(as a relative),

Hi i am writing this with a very sad heart as I have just lost my best friend and husband but can i just thank with all my heart the team who where on that night for the care they give us. both for me leaving me alone with him to hold him in my arms all night and to let him die in peace but most of all to Emma.  What will i do with out you.  you wear the wrong top it should be dark blue darling if any nurse thats training in your ward comes close to you the nhs will be a better place.   i would also like to thank all the nurses who made my husbands birthday so nice {dont worry no fleece we be spoke about} to Alli Ann Amanda yous will always be in my heart god bless and have the best life ever i will see yous again love always

To most of the doctors who have looked after my husband sorry I cant remember all your names I go on faces but to the very lovely doctor who has looked after my husband.  you spoke to me  before you went off shift you are wonderful and a great doctor.  you have everything it takes to be a doctor and its a pity that more doctors dont have what you do.   the nhs are very lucky to have you. also can i thank joe for everything she did for my husband when he came back in.

sorry i cant thank the doctor on call as this person should look at themselves and learn some compassion i will not be letting what you did to my husband go he was worth more.

Dear Demonwheelchair,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, it is hard to put into writing and convey a level of comfort through a computer screen - but please know that we are all thinking of you at this difficult time.

Thank you for a lovely tribute to the staff, I'm really pleased that they showed you both kindness and compassion throughout your husbands journeys with us.

We are all thinking of you and your family and send our love and condolences.

Kind Regards

Gwen
