"I feel a sense of relief that staff have put trust in me"

(as the patient),

Throughout the latter stages of my recovery I feel that staff, not just in this job role of H&S but within St. Andrew's as a whole, have made an impact on me by being allowed to contribute my opinion on how things operate within the hospital. My voice is always heard, I feel a sense of worth as a valued member of the team.

For an example of trust; I was given the master key of Fitzroy by my boss to return to the main site office within Cliftonville grounds and sign back in.

Emotionally I feel a sense of relief that staff have put trust in me by allowing me to be a part of a working environment again. Its not just a job its a stepping stone on my pathway to recovery.

Hello

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. you have reminded us of how important it is to be trusted. As staff we can at times take things for granted and you have demonstrated how big an impact being trusted to return the key has had on your recovery. I would also like to respond to you by acknowledging the importance of your opinions and that I have myself observed how patient voices have made such a difference in so many areas within St Andrew's. We have much to gain for collaborating with you also.

Please continue to provide feedback as your insights are extremely important and helpful.

Best wishes
Sophia Feurtado
