What I liked
The staff were friendly some of the time. After complaining I think they did a better job. The dietician did arrive after some complaining, but I think this should have been sorted out by the nurses caring for her and not her mother. She also fell and I think this should have been sorted too. I also asked for the physiotherapist to see her to help her gain back her walking.
What could be improved
Communication with the nurses and doctors to make sure she left with her medication instead of my ringing back and forth and also having to travel 60 miles to collect prescription is a disgrace and now to be told to ring again on a sunday to see if it has been done first to make sure I dont travel there for nothing. The dietician did arrive after some complaining. I felt like I had to fight for the right for my daughter to receive these treatments when you could plainly see that she could not walk and that she was not eating. I also asked for the physiotherapist to see her to help her gain back her walking.
Anything else?
She twisted her foot in the toilets and a doctor came to visit her. He wanted a X ray. This never got done. Why its impossible I thought. Whatever happened for this to be missed.
