Dear Demonwheelchair,

I've enjoyed corresponding with your wife who shares your positive experience of our Ward 6 staff and their compassionate approach to care, not only for the patients but for their loved ones too.

Sometimes patients find Hospital a very process driven place and I'm just so proud of our staff who remember that Person Centered care is not just a term but an ethic, to treat others as we would wish for our own families and loved ones.

I'm delighted you have been 'released' and can have a wonderful Christmas in your own home. I'm sure all the staff will miss you, your wife and the interactions from your stay.

I wish you and your family a fantastic Christmas and wonderful 2017.

With Kindness

Gwen

Dear Demonwheelchair,

I'm sorry to hear of your husbands admission however delighted to have met you both this morning and can put a face to not only the name but your joint story.

Please let me know if there is anything else we can do to help make these admissions any less stressful.

I promise to look in on my way past from now on...

Kind regards

Gwen
