To whom it may concern, I was sent for an x-ray on the last week of September 2016 after first waiting a week for my appointment to come through the mail and the another week for my actual appointment date. I had to get an x-ray for a lump that has appeared on my collar bone, the radiologist stated (rather abruptly) that the x-ray would take no longer than 7 working days to get back to my GP. More than 2 weeks later I am still waiting for my x-ray to be sent to my GP with no mention of why it's taking so long. My mother had an x-ray on Wednesday 5th October 2016 and received her results on Wednesday 12th October 2016, exactly 7 working days after the initial x-ray was taken. I am now worried that there is a complication and the lump (which has already caused me to take nearly a month off work already) is something serious. I would very much like to now what is happening with my x-ray and why the process is taking so long as I'm in excruciating pain every day and desperately need treatment asap. Regards, Zoe Moar
